Ignition electrodes ignite the atomized fuel with a high-voltage arc flame. The position of the electrodes in relation to the nozzle is very important for igniting the flame. Electrode tips that are too far above the nozzle tip ignite the fuel well, but they come into contact with the atomized fuel and start to drip during operation. The electrodes should be 0.5-1mm above the nozzle tip. The gap between the electrode tips should be 4-5mm.
